About

A friend and I decided to create SisterChatter after spending countless hours together discussing our crazy experiences with dating, friendships, and just plain ole growing older and wiser. As we began to reflect on some of our most memorable moments, we thought it would be a great idea to establish a network for women of all ages, from all around the world and across color lines and cultures, to assist women with communication and life skills.

You can call me JULU. I’m a single working mother of two. I’ve been referred to as “an old soul” and have a knack for reading people. I’m friendly by nature and cool with just as many women as men. I’m that person who always gets the quiet people to talk. When giving advice, expect my answers to contain a heap load of wisdom gained from my vast personal experiences, a considerable amount of women’s intuition, and a dash of humor. I will not excuse behavior for ANYONE. Wrong is wrong, and if you do wrong then ask my opinion, expect the hard truth about it. I’m also an artist, so view life creatively. I’m a trip, and will clown you as I see fit. Where guys are concerned, they typically think of me in one of two ways. I’m either like a sister, or they tend to “forget I’m a girl” because I’m so frickin’ laid back and “don’t get all emotional” like women tend to. Life is what it is, so no need in me stressing over stuff I can’t control. Don’t get me wrong I have my moments. I just usually take the common sense approach to solving problems instead of letting my heart do the talking; and then if that doesn’t work, I ask Drake. I have a Degree in Business, and an Honorary Degree in “Dealing with Life’s BS.”

I go by DRAKE (but have many aliases). My full name is not important. What is important is why I can provide the type of advice that you need to hear. I have been in the game for over 20 years. Most would say I’m easy on the eyes, with a magnetic personality. So with that said, I first had $ex at the young age of 12 and have not looked back. After my first girl cheated on me, I dedicated my life to being the best bachelor I could be. I have 4 sisters and learned about women by observing them, listening to them on the phone, hiding under the bed listening to them, and just plain old asking them questions. When you’re a bachelor and deal with the magnitude of women that I have (will not reveal the number but it’s crazy), you kind of become an expert in the field. I am no slouch in the bedroom either – please believe it!!! Yes I have seen it all and done it all (real talk). I’ve dealt with women of many different nationalities, cultures, $exual orientations and ages. Because of my vast experience, I’m the go-to person for advice amongst friends and family. On the other side of that, I grew up in CT, about 40 minutes from NY, so I have the up-north swagger and mojo added to my character. I went to Norfolk State University. I was a balla. I was involved in a lot of street activities, then I grew up. This combination qualifies me as one of the best resources for u to get the real, down to earth, most truthful, in your face, raw-dawg advice that you deserve. Oh, and I got a degree in social work. Trust me when I tell you that I’m overqualified!!!!!!

FEVER incites passion and enthusiasm. I’m the other artsy one with the quirky sense of humor. Old enough to see bull-ish coming a mile away, young enough to decipher your mess. I’m also a Photographer, the SisChat Senior Editor, and former dancer and gymnast (don’t ask me to do any flips cause them days are over). I’m a lover of music and chocolate. SisterChatter is about relationships, family, money and life–what else is there to talk about?! Get emotionally charged topics with blogs, helpful hints and FREE resources. No topic is taboo for us. Get it real and raw, GET FEVER!!!
